Overview:
There are seven forest
demonstration areas around the state of Pennsylvania. Each one
is part of a state-wide demonstration project to show the effects
of different forest cutting techniques. Using small plots, different
cutting techniques are implemented to show the long-term and immediate
effects of different types of harvesting.
